The casserole features a three-layer construction. For a durable, yet attractive veneer, the casserole's exterior employs brushed 18/10 stainless steel. Beneath the exterior, a heavy-gauge aluminum core enables accelerated heat conduction and distribution for searing or frying. An 18/10 stainless-steel interior, the final layer, provides a nonporous cooking surface that cleans easily. The chef transports the casserole to and from by gripping the stainless-steel loop handles, riveted securely to the casserole's sides. A fitted stainless-steel lid allows expedient cooking and contains flavors. A loop handle sits on top of the lid. Dishwasher- safe, the casserole also adapts for stovetop-to-oven use, sustaining temperatures up to 500 degrees F.
